Patrick Kidd

Patrick was sick of getting shit haircuts in unisex salons and barbers, so after working as a sparky for 10 years he threw in the tools to open a hair salon designed specifically for men.

Patrick is not shy of a good time and thought 'why does getting your haircut have to be such a punish, it should be an enjoyable experience'. Although not everyone shared Patrick's enthusiasm at first, Patrick knew there was a massive gap in the market and men's hairdressing could be a whole lot better.

Patrick believes that a kick ass haircut and staff that actually listen to what you want should be the priority but Patrick also wanted the whole experience to be something that you look forward to and that didn't cost a packet. So Patrick included all his favourite things in the design, a Ducati motorbike, cold beer, good coffee, flatscreen TVs, massage chairs, men's magazines and super friendly staff. He also decided to charge a heap less than other good salons in the area.

Patricks for Men opened in May 2007 and is now the place to get a haircut. Patrick's clients include pro surfers, AFL players, actors and musicians to guys who drop their missus off at Westfield's and come in for a well earned break!
